New galas open to enter
Hi all,
New year - new individual galas to enter!
I have just added 3 galas to the gala entry section of the Arnold SC website. (Please ensure you check the deadline for entry as I will not be processing any entries after the deadline)
Junior Performance and Performance squads should consider entering these individual Galas to improve times and get County / regional level qualifying times.
If you have any questions please speak to your coach for advice.
1. Ernehale - I have set up another opportunity to enter our own Gala - The Ernehale - if you have already entered you may now consider adding more events? Or if you haven’t entered any yet you have another opportunity to enter.
2. Radford SC Dean Anscombe sprint meet - a good event to improve times at 50 & 100m distances - this gala is being held at Alfreton Leisure Centre.
3. Stockbridge Pentaqua sprint meet - this is a gala being run at Sheffields Ponds Forge and is long course (50m pool) over 50 and 100m races plus 200IM - this gala is aimed at swimmers aiming for or wanting to improve times at a County Champs level - please speak to your coach if you have any questions - but this is a good chance to gain Long Course experience.
Regards
Brian on behalf of ASC

4. Presentations we are aiming to start at 7.30 - normally takes around 2 hours - everyone that entered will get an award of some description - please support ALL competitors, not just the ones you know!
5. After the presentations there will be a raffle - some great prizes this year - tickets will be on sale throughout the night.
6. The bar will be open throughout (please be respectful during the presentations and keep noise at the bar down)
